Heart Errands

I searched through raindrops,

Wept through moons,

Wiped away the much too soons,

Sifted through the stars a while,

Infinity revealed a smile,

I lifted midnight’s long egress

Stripped my Goddess of her dress.

Stood beyond myself in sight,

And cast the veils from sleepless night.

Within my hand I held a spell

Enchanted it as fast I fell,

A verse or two composed in light

And kissed my daydreams sweet goodnight.

Picked up pieces scattered there,

Of heartbreaks shattered sweet despair,

Assembled thus, a beating heart

And wrote a page where here we start.

A pulse soon pleaded for a taste,

A truth now found

Can’t be misplaced.

    1. Hahaha! Oh my gosh…I was waiting for a naughty person to notice that bit…
I do like to add a sultry bit of spice when I can. Which is usually. ..always.
My goddess looks hot when she’s being stripped lol

    1. Thank you my lovely. Your words always warm my heart
That was a special line for me that you picked out. So happy it stood out for you.

    1. Thank you so much!
Haha, did you now? Brilliant. I love that line.
Mr Lonely Author is a wonderful poet and great friend. I am so happy he pointed me in your direction. I loved participating in your series. You won’t be able to get rid of me now!

  1. Smiling. This is beyond beautiful. Do I really need to tell you, I noticed the stripped part right away…..

Sometimes when we search it is impossible to find. The mere fact that we are searching means we have our minds fixed on something specific. It is when we are not searching through the rain and stars, that we find what we were looking for. Does that make sense?

Loved this piece. God, loved those final lines.

    1. I am also smiling now..
No. You definitely don’t need to tell me you noticed that part! I would have had to check you were okay if you DIDNT mention it.
Does that make sense…let me see.
That may make the most sense that anything has made for a very long time. Reading my soul. I am enjoying it a lot.

Oh the last two lines. I know…they were meant to be loved ❤️
