Me (probably)

Inspiring, enticing

A beautiful verse

Whose magnetic allure

Is a blessed, sweet curse.

Attractive…so sensual

No heart could resist

A personified rhyme of two lips left unkissed.

A talent!

Quite wanton

No bashfulness here

With a ‘come hither’ aura

To taste without fear.

A treasure

A poet

A weaver of lines

The true north of your compass

Divinity’s sign.

Kissable

Holdable

Lovable

True.

A dream breathed to life

No.

Not “Me”

I meant

You.

      1. Hmmm…The number 3. Let’s see…
All well and good for a little entertainment …but there’s nothing like a smouldering tango for two.

        You are forgiven, sir.
I shall be expecting more praise in this Poetic Kingdom of mine from you anon, which shall always be graciously returned from my verse-filled fingers to you and your enchanting writing.

Or , you know. ..Thanks and see you soon.

        Fond Regards,

        Her Poetic Majesty

    1. Lol, really?!

Good grief…even when I don’t mean to be spicy, my spice rack spills all over the this poetic kitchen counter of mine.

      Thanks Tony.

      1. Perfect.

This thought came to me … not a new one by any means. Too many bloggers have no clue that a way of increase readership and building a community is by interacting with readers. I don’t know how many times (through the years) I visit a blog for the first time and make a comment … and the reply is something shallow like, Thank you … and that’s it! That’s also saying, thank you Fiery!

      2. I was having this exact discussion with a friend the other day actually.

        You’re absolutely right

I think a lot of bloggers probably enjoy hearing praise for their writing but don’t realise that if you don’t interact with your readers and attempt to be a little more gracious and friendly than ‘thank you’, especially if someone has taken the time to write a thoughtful comment, then that person will probably not bother returning.
The again, there are the types of generic (I’m not complaining about it ) comments that are one words, and that’s fine. I won’t write an essay thanking you for saying the word “nice” but I will appreciate the read, of course.
To be honest, I don’t actively seek out followers , I don’t sit and hope for a multitude of followers and views I just write because I love it and I need to write That it reaches people and I connect with them on some very wonderful levels is a lovely bonus and makes me happy.
I don’t purposely calculate my responses and/or comments I make on other blogs, I am just myself. And that works for me.
I’ve heard many bloggers complaining about lack of comments or quality of comments and all I can think in those situations is, you get back what you give out. Simple as that.
Not apologising for the lengthy answer here… you knew I’d go off on one!

      3. I guess so.
It’s a shame. In the end personalities come through and thankfully the people I adore around here and who I connect with have that in abundance so I’m good!

  1. Like the cheekiness overlaid in this one. I mean, and the sultry undertones, but I took it as a playful mood overall. Sending lots of hugs and lots of love! β™₯οΈπŸ€—β™₯οΈπŸ€—β™₯οΈπŸ€—β™₯οΈπŸ€—

One day soon I’m going to be a Jedi Master! β™₯️πŸ”₯

Indeed I did! Feels like a slow week mindfully for me. Hoping next week will be better? All the same, hoping you’ve been well!?!?!?! β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯οΈπŸŒΈπŸŒΈπŸŒΈπŸŒΈπŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ€©πŸ€©πŸ€©πŸ€©πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€βœ¨βœ¨βœ¨πŸ”₯❄️

        I’m well honey.
Different, better, up and down, all over the shop, and many more thingies. So nothing new there!

You will be a kick arse Jedi Master .

These are not the poetry droids you’re looking for….

I gotta at least ACT humble occasionally πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‡ some people in the world don’t like it when I’m always right πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ which okay isn’t true! It just happens that my intuition is rarely wrong, but we all make mistakes!? Sooo… yeah. Haha.

Excellent! Am pleased as red punchy you’re doing well, if still experiencing nothing new as you say.

I still have much to learn, oh wise one….

        …as I hare off, chasing poetry droids…
