A Very Eloquent Poem Title (and a whole eff load of poetry for you)

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

definitely not.

Thou art, hands down, way hotter

How do I love thee?

Couldn’t possibly count the ways. Let’s call it a cool squillion. Nice round number.

She walks in beauty like the night…

I DO do that. If only there was a little flashlight that could just guide me in your direction while I’m strolling in my beauty all over the place,  that would be helpful.

Midway upon the journey of our life…

Is a very crappy and inconvenient place to start falling in love and stuff but what to do…

Let us go then,  you and I…

yeah let’s just run away…no one would notice. For realsies.

I wandered lonely as a cloud

Because honestly, no jokes…I was kind of lost without you. I like clouds. And wandering. And similes actually.  But not the being lonely part.  That sucks you know whats.

Stop all the clocks. Cut off the telephone

Ah..that would be so sweet. No time, no effing phones. Just Us. Dreamy…

 I celebrate myself, and sing myself

I really do, now. Because of you and your smooshy loveliness of truth and L words all over me.

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)

because it’s mine, right? I swear that’s what you said.  Let me just cross reference that info….hang on…beep beep boop bleep…yep you definitely said that.  So. Mine.

I loved you first: but afterwards your love, Outsoaring mine, sang such a loftier song

Ah…sigh. Spine tingly and melodious… I definitely loved you first so…deal with it.

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true;

Yeah…good question. How many?! Quite an effing lot. But not like this… Because I am made of magic and kisses and poetry and scalding heat and true pounding heartbeats for you that make you feel all sorts of good. Right?  You know I’m right. Shush

Where true Love burns Desire is Love’s pure flame;

Told you.  Hot pounding love. Right in your face.

Love seeketh not Itself to please,
Nor for itself hath any care;

Don’t get me wrong,  you make me want to please myself with love…but mainly, silly jokes aside, I just want to love you with this deep and selfless insanity I have for you. I know, super romantic stuff.

Beauty and Love are as body and soul. Beauty is the mine, Love is the diamond.

I mean…sigh.

I have an eff load of poetry in my heart of insane ardour for you.

That last one was an original Fiery quote.

Eloquent and a bit sweary. But all true. And all for you

      1. Nope!….Can’t think of one.

        Just imagine I said something naughty and then added in something at the end about ALWAYS knowing what you’ll get from my box of chocolates?

        Ugh… I think I poem-ed all the fiery funny right out of myself today 😅

  1. Enjoyed getting to recognize classic lines of poetry and then read a modern “response” or “interpretation” or whatever other word is best to describe your thoughts. Very unique and creative!
